Electronic Mail:
Most assignments can be delivered via email
(sm903@hotmail.com) or on diskette. If you
do not have an email account at your disposal, make it known on the first
day. There will be no paper-based communications from me during the
semester.

Requirements:
Assignments -
Throughout this course, you will be creating
a complete website. This site will be created incrementally as we cover a given
topic. The site can be on any topic you wish: personal, business, etc. If you cannot
think of a topic, there is always the tried and true "Family Website". For
other ideas, contact me and I'll be happy to help you out.
Assignments will be posted to a publicly accessible web server.
There will be a free web account provided for the class to use. However, if you have space elsewhere
or decide to get space elsewhere, that is also acceptable. There are a number of sites that offer free web space (see
Resources).
Attendance -
Class attendance is important to engage in dialogue with others
about the readings, individual knowledge and experiences. Students are
expected to prepare for and participate in class discussions
Miscellaneous -
On the first day of class I will provide you with one diskette for your use. Since we
will be using computers housed in a student lab, you will need to bring a diskette to each class in order
to save the work you do during class time.
Note - Failure to complete course requirements within specified time
frames may result in an "incomplete," unless a clear personal emergency
can be demonstrated. "Incompletes" must be completed within a time
negotiated with the instructor, but no later than the end of the following
semester.
